Based at Longnor 1726, we specialize in repairing the historic fabric of Staffordshire and the Black Country, from Georgian farmhouses to Victorian industrial heritage. Our focus remains within a 30-mile radius—including Lichfield, Cannock Chase, and Wolverhampton—ensuring we stay closely involved with every project from survey to completion. This local expertise gives us a deep understanding of regional materials, conservation policies, and the specific requirements of the area’s planning authorities.

Matt Gumbley, Managing Director

Matt leads the day-to-day work of Longnor Heritage, overseeing projects and ensuring that conservation principles, compliance requirements and practical construction all come together successfully on site.

David Hill, Chairman

David provides strategic direction to the company and brings more than four decades of experience in construction and property development, including the restoration and conversion of numerous historic buildings.
